Welcome to the new Getscores 2.0!

For the past many weeks, I've been working on a complete redesign of the getscores.org Website. I've have made some dramatic changes in the way the site operates.   For the next few weeks, I will continue to make changes as we test and improve.

Most of the big changes are behind-the-scenes, and improve performance.  One visual change is you'll see a snazzy new display format for live results, which I hope will provide more detailed data in a compact format.

The good news is that we remain compatible with your favorite logging programs, including N1MM, WriteLog amd WinTest, just like in the past.   I'll continue to support other loggers via the Universal Score Uploader, a free Windows application which allows you to post scores manually, or by generating a script file to do it for you.

Live Score Validation

Probably the most exciting change I am making is the ability to provide live validation and scoring of short-duration contest events.   The live validation features are explained in the live validation FAQ.  Essentially, each QSO you log will be uploaded to the getscores site in semi-real-time.   Just after the end of an event, you'll receive a log file and validated result via email.

Since it will take some time to design, implement and test with existing loggers, initially we will run live validation using a simple, web-page-based logger, hosted on this site.
